Jenny Johnston studied English Literature at the University of Aberdeen. Her research interests include visual forms of narratives and interdisciplinary approaches to the arts. Her acting background includes a one year Acting and Performance course at Aberdeen College. Studying clown and comedy with RADA lecturer Mick Barnfather and puppetry with Gavin Glover. She has trained at the Odin Teatret including physical theatre with Alberto Martinez and mask work with Deborah Hunt. Her work with physical theatre ensemble group Crossing IV has taken her to Italy, Denmark and Germany. Jenny promotes theatre in education, she holds a current Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and maintains public liability insurance for her work. She has run drama workshops at Deans Primary School, the Arts Across Learning Festival and Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
